I'm Tushaar. I had a burnout as I am studying nearly 15 hours per day for the past 5 months as my psychologist told me. I was under enormous amount of stress and one day everything exploded in my head. Although I still want to study but my concentration and focus is null. You should practise Yoga practices?
Response
1. study 15 hours per day means that you may not have time for adequate rest and sleep. Lack of exercise, sleep deprivation and stress of examinations puts a lot of mental tension in our mind.
2. remember that cradle of all stress is our human mind. He gets accumulated in our mind. Remove the conditions that produce stress and it disappears.
3. keep worrying about the exam, past or future actions. Focus and think about the time available to you now. God gave him time to do the karma karma and will bring positive results.
4. plan your studies and set aside some time for little foot, yoga or any other exercise.
5. While studying ensure that you maintain proper posture and back is straight. Incorrect posture results in sub optimal breathing and highlights our muscles and spine.
About 30 minutes of yoga in a day will help you overcome feelings of stress and burnout.
6. contract and stretch Stretching Asanas most muscles of your body that will help relax the muscles and your body. You can practice asanas surya namaskar, simple as tadasana, trikonasana, parvatanasana and bhujangasana.
7. learn to breathe correctly can soothe your nervous system and assist in relaxation. Proper breathing ensures enough oxygen to brain and all other organs of the body. As you will not have much spare time because of studies; rhythmic breathing practice and alom vilom. If your health is good and you don't have any known health problem, you can practice pranayama kapalabhati.
8. deep relaxation can be reached by savasana for 5 minutes, followed by yoga nidra.
9. to better concentration, sit in padmasana or sukhasana and practise "aum" recitation, keeping your attention on ' trikuti ', corresponding to the center point of the eyebrows.
10. Furthermore, at any time you feel stressed out, you can practice breathing rhythm for 5 minutes while lying in savasana. If you have spare time, practicing yoga nidra also.
Hope this helps.
